Today I played in my last junior golf tournament ever, and I won! It was an incredible day, full of many ups and downs. While I played extremely well, I left way to many shots out on the course. Although, I was able to make one shot that counted: I made THE birdie putt to win the tournament during the second playoff hole.
It was so much fun playing alongside friends at my home course; we shared a lot of laughs during the long round of rain and shine. Although my junior golf career is coming to an end, it is just the beginning of my story with the game of golf. I can’t wait to play for Oglethorpe University in the fall, and I will continue to play golf throughout my life.
Congrats to Jackson to winning his division as well!
